He’s a very compassionate person with a deep-seated sense of justice who can’t bring himself to ignore people in need. Everyone admires him for how well he looks after his little brothers. As a hardcore nerd, his hobbies include watching anime and keeping up with all the latest light novels.

He and Samatoki Aohitsugi, leader of the Yokohama Division, hate each other’s guts.

Jiro Yamada

The one thing he can’t stand is seeing people insult Ichiro. He’s always bickering with his younger brother, Saburo.

He knows how to be polite, but thanks to his twisted personality and tendency to condescend to those he thinks of as beneath him, he’s rather lacking in friends. Consequently, he’s always looking for people to play his favorite board games with.

He’s developed a mutually beneficial relationship with Samatoki Aohitsugi through his beat.

As the resident problem-solver, he’s often tasked with putting out fires within the Yokohama Division.

He enjoys meditating and fishing, and has even invited Hifumi along on fishing trips before.

He’s extremely dexterous, and has a wide range of hobbies ranging from the indoor to the outdoor.

He and Doppo have known each other since they were in elementary school, and he frequently mends Doppo’s torn suits for him.

Gencho Hosen: Appears in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Before the Battle: The Dirty Dawg. He ran one of the orphanages Ichiro, Jiro, and Saburo lived at, but ultimately turns out to be a violent sadist in league with Mozuku. He participated in the terrorist incident at the Sunset Building in which Jiro, Saburo, Nemu and a number of other unnamed civilians were held hostage.

Mozuku Shito: Appears in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Before the Battle: The Dirty Dawg. The head of one of the large umbrella groups controlling Ikebukuro shortly after the passage of the H Doctrine, Stairway to Heaven. Ichiro and Kuko used to work for him as the Naughty Busters, an affiliate group under Stairway to Heaven. He organized the terrorist incident at the Sunset Building including the kidnapping of Jiro, Saburo, and Nemu.

Yotsutsuji Kannabi: Appears in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Before the Battle: The Dirty Dawg. Jakurai’s assistant.

Zan’en Tobari (voiced by Ryusei Nakao) and Zansei Tobari (voiced by Akio Otsuka): Appear in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Before the Battle: The Dirty Dawg, Hypnosis Mic – side B.B. & M.T.C, and the drama tracks “We Just Wanna Party With You” and “Don’t Play No Game” on the album Enter the Hypnosis Microphone. A pair of brothers who, during the TDD era made up the group Back Wild, an affiliate group under Samatoki’s Mad Comic Dialogue. During the B.B. & M.T.C. manga they’re revealed to be the people Samatoki beat up to end up in jail during the events of the first MTC drama track and they later reappear during the events of the Enter the Hypnosis Microphone drama tracks to participate in that kidnapping incident.

Aogiri Bojo (voiced by Yuki Sakakihara), Asunaro Bojo (voiced by Shizuka Ishigami), and Kaede Bojo (Mayu Okumura): Appear in the drama tracks on the album Enter the Hypnosis Microphone. Siblings, victims of the kidnapping plot that is the focus of the Enter the Hypnosis Microphone drama tracks.

Hitaki Tsumabira (voiced by Sachiko Kojima): Appears in the drama tracks on the album Enter the Hypnosis Microphone. A rogue Central Ward official involved in the kidnapping plot that is the focus of the Enter the Hypnosis Microphone drama tracks.

Taiko Katen (voiced by Mitsuru Ogata): Appears in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Side B.B. and M.T.C. and the drama track “Somebody Gotta Do It” on the album Enter the Hypnosis Microphone. Patriarch of the Katen yakuza family in Yokohama with which both Samatoki and Juto are affiliated.

Urumi Asogi: Appears in the manga Hypnosis Mic – Side B.B. and M.T.C. One of Jiro’s informants with connections to more underground streams of information. They typically meet at a bar in Nichome. Urumi assisted Jiro in finding Hifumi’s stalker and Jiro owes Urumi a favor for this.
